About
Senior software engineer with 7+ years building B2B SaaS, currently in fintech. I'm backend-focused, but I work across the full stack. My strongest work is on data-heavy systems. I restructured a 20M+ row PostgreSQL table without taking it offline, migrated around 2B records from a third-party API, and brought queries that ran for over an hour down to milliseconds.
I work in Node.js and TypeScript today, on microservices running on AWS and Kubernetes, after years of PHP and Laravel. I take what I build all the way to production, from the Terraform it runs on to the observability around it. On the front end I mostly work with Vue, and I've also shipped with React, Livewire and Inertia, so I can take a feature from the database to the UI.
Most of my career has been remote with US teams. I'm based in Brazil (UTC-3), which lines up well with US working hours. Outside of work I'm exploring functional programming with Elixir.

- Restructured the 20M+ row PostgreSQL events table that powers billing and usage analytics online, with no downtime or data loss, and automated its partition maintenance so it keeps performing as it grows.
- On top of it, rebuilt the usage-based billing pipeline so customers are invoiced on accurate event counts, and took the queries behind usage charts and growth-over-time views from over an hour down to milliseconds.
- Reworked secrets management across 10+ microservices so credentials can be rotated without downtime.
- Made the developer docs AI-friendly, with llms.txt and Markdown versions of every page.
